…There’s an interesting story behind this yard “sculpture” (and several others just like it). At one time, my friend Bill Mayes had invented this medical board/device for helping to stretch your back (I’ve tried it… it’s great!)… and, anyway, because of all the red tape you have to go through in marketing a “medical” device, and sky-high insurance premiums he would have had to pay to cover himself in case someone would ever sue, Bill was never able to market and sell the boards. So, what did he do with all the left-over parts after having to abandon his great invention?? He made yard art… lots and lots of yard art! xo
