A Mossin’ We Will Go… even up on a roof to rescue mosses from imminent destruction. These sun-tolerant mosses will be incorporated into the Mountain Moss Mossery inventory for use on green roofs, moss lawns or moss feature gardens in sustainable landscapes. Entodon is in full sporophytic display and Hedwigia colonies are thriving already. Thanks for your interest in mosses… and their environmental solutions as an intentional horticultural choice. Let me know if you hear of any more rescue opportunities… wherever mosses are destined for destruction by housing developments. road construction, golf courses or more ROOFS.
