Mountain Song Weekend squirrel rescue story…
So, my friend Melinda Hendershott and her husband were on their way to Mountain Song Festival when they happened upon this baby squirrel lying motionless at the bottom of a tall pine. They took her home (never made it to Mountain Song) and started making inquiries as to where to find a wildlife rehabilitator. Enter Jennifer Burgin (amazing licensed wildlife rehabilitator who specializes in squirrels) who then took the baby squirrel under her care and starting nursing her back to health.
I spoke with Jennifer and she says the baby squirrel is doing well, and is expected to survive. She’ll likely make a full recovery and will be back in the wild before too long!

Remembering 15 years ago… 9/11
Fifteen years ago this morning I was prepping for a 9am conference call with Irving Azoff and another executive (whose estranged wife and mother-in-law were on that first plane that flew into the World Trade Center). I learned from that man who lost his wife, don’t let silly things get in the way of those you truly love. Tell them you love them. “And these three things remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

He apparently also loves The Phoenix. Matt ran in to him there yesterday, and everyone says he goes there all the time. :-)

… fantastic class tonight at Elements Spa!
